As an avid fan of ice skating (I know, how gay???), I'm always perturbed by the openly gay skater Johnny Weir who consistently wears fur on his costumes. An article was on the home page of Yahoo today that addresses this issue:

Weir says that it's hypocritical to come at him when every skater wears skates made from cows, which is true, but the flashiness of Weir wearing fox fur on his costume is just disheartening. And he's gay and should know better. As a gay man myself, I find it deplorable especially when a gay man can be so insensitive to the plight of other minorities.
I will follow up with contact information for Weir when I have more time to update on this story ;)
